We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Washington D.C., London and Amsterdam. Plaid’s Communications team is responsible for building and protecting Plaid’s reputation, shaping our company narrative, driving awareness of our products and impact, and ensuring we show up with clarity and credibility across moments that matter. We partner closely with Product, Marketing, Corporate Affairs, and Leadership to tell the stories that earn trust with customers, partners, press, policymakers, and the broader fintech ecosystem, while also helping align employees around our strategy and priorities.   We’re looking for an Executive Editorial Lead to own the editorial function for Plaid’s highest-impact voices and translate strategy and technical concepts into compelling, defensible content across formats. This person will build credible thought leadership, sourcing real-world inputs, pressure-testing claims, and creating flagship editorial moments (from marquee reports to LinkedIn series and audio/video) that define Plaid’s point of view on AI, risk, credit underwriting, payments, and the future of financial innovation.
