Director, Compensation Programs

We are seeking a strategic and analytical, forward-thinking Director, Compensation Programs to lead the design, implementation, and management of global compensation strategies across a fast-paced, high growth landscape. This role will ensure our compensation programs are competitive, equitable, and aligned with business objectives, enabling us to attract, retain, and motivate top talent in a highly competitive market. What you’ll do: • Lead the strategy, design, and execution of global compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and equity • Oversee end-to-end compensation operations, including annual cycles (merit, bonus, promotions, equity refresh) and incentive plan management • Drive market competitiveness and pay equity through benchmarking, analytics, and continuous program evaluation • Ensure compliance with compensation regulations while monitoring industry trends and evolving best practices • Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven insights, while building and leading a high-performing compensation team Who you are: • 10+ years of progressive compensation experience, including leadership roles and global or multi-region program management • Deep expertise in compensation design, job architecture, and incentive programs • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into business decisions • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen and the ability to influence senior leaders • Excellent leadership, communication, and execution skills, with high attention to detail; experience in tech or high-growth environments a plus Why Join Us • Opportunity to shape and scale compensation strategy at a critical stage of growth • High visibility role with direct impact on talent and business success • Collaborative, innovative, and inclusive work environment Datadog values people from all walks of life.
